Requirements:
Software can be installed on following operating systems:
- Windows 8.1
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
Windows XP or earlier is not supported.
The operating system can be installed on PC, Windows partition on Mac computer (bootcamp) or virtual machine (VMware Fusion).
Software Installation Instructions
Windows 32 bit:

Deciding between 32 and 64bit software versions
The software can be installed as 32bit or 64bit version depending on computer’s specifications and currently installed products.
- Generally it is advised to install 32bit version for 32bit Windows, and 64bit version for 64bit Windows operating system.
- 32bit GemmoRaman software installation is required in case 32bit version of Microsoft Office has been installed to 64bit operating system.
- 64bit GemmoRaman software installation is required in case 64bit version of Microsoft Office has been installed to 64bit operating system.
- Currently GemmoFtir only runs on 32bit software. Therefore, possible MS Office installation on the computer must be 32bit version.
How to Upgrade the software
Select Settings -> Check for Software Updates… from the top menu of the software and follow the provided instructions.
